    On arrival at Entebbe International airport, a coach will be waiting to pick you up and take you to Victoria Mall.

    We will take a boat from Nakiwogo landing site to Victoria Forest Resort, the journey is approximately 1 hour.

    Victoria Forest Resort is a beachfront resort located on Bugala Island which is the largest island of the Ssese archipelago. The Ssese archipelago consists of 84 Islands.

    Victoria Forest Resort provides views over Lake Victoria. Guests can relax beside the outdoor pool, in the extensive tropical gardens, or at our White Sand Beach. All of the rooms and cottages feature modern décor, a flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom.

    The hotel features a restaurant that prepares a variety of international cuisine and local dishes.

    We will depart the island at 13:00pm and head back to Entebbe where the coach will be waiting to take us to Jinja. The trip to Jinja takes approximately 4 hours and we will stop over at one of the side roads markets for the local meat – nyama choma, then proceed to head to Jinja-Uganda’s Adventure Capital

    Jinja Town

    Introduction To Jinja

    Jinja is a town in southern Uganda, on the shore of Lake Victoria. The source of the Nile, at Coronation Park, is marked by a garden and a monument honoring British explorer John Hanning Speke. Owen Falls Dam and Bujagali Dam both span the Nile. Farther north on the river, Itanda Falls is known for its white-water rapids. East of Jinja, on Lake Victoria, Samuka Island is home to birdlife, including little egrets.

It’s in a sublime location and only reached by boat which makes it a very adventurous place to stay. It is uniquely perched on granite rocks with dramatic and exciting rapids roaring all around.
